Ginger Russell has been circulating inaccurate and out of context criticisms against Commissioner Riley, throughout Magnolia. Commissioner Riley has responded:
Dear Precinct 2 community members, I have appreciated being your Commissioner for two terms, and I am seeking re-election. I understand this is political season, but I promise to always bring you honest information. Smear campaigns represent the dirty side of politics and it is my commitment to not participate in these types of practices. Our community members deserve the dignity of being given true and accurate information when going to the polls and casting their ballots. Our campaign has gathered information, with documentation, in order to provide our community with verifiable facts. I don’t expect that you always support every decision I have make, but I hope you can see the great improvements that have been made throughout our community and you know that I will continue to serve this community that I love, to the best of my ability.
